Re: Classic Halloween photos

Aww, thanks for the Frasier pic! That was a great episode, a 2-parter from season 5, if memory serves. They had some great holiday episodes on Frasier. Their Valentines episodes were often superb, too.

I've not heard of TruMoo, either, but thanks for the recipe link.

Very nice!

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen any pumpkins at the grocery store yet.

Re: Classic Halloween photos

I love the vintage cards!

Those kids are creepy as heck. That last one--omg. Were they trying to pose their kids with Beelzebub? It looks downright Satanic.

Re: I am now watching (streaming edition)...

Oh, fun! I missed that one. In the mid-80s, I was beyond cartoons myself, and did not yet have cartoon-watching kids. Now, 90s kid shows I know pretty well.

I've pulled out a few of my stalwart Halloween dvds already, though I think I'm mainly watching Grimm right now. On Labor Day my daughter put ...

Re: Catching up

I haven't seen Witchy in a while, but Andy's still here, and HeadlessHorseman. MauEwig hasn't posted in a few months, but I have hope she may turn up again for the spooky season. It's been pretty quiet, but a few of us are stubborn haunters.

Re: It looks like the Halloween season is starting early this year

I've been scouting for Halloween magazines here in Murfreesboro. So far I've seen a special interest History of Halloween, the Martha Stewart reprint from last year, and a Country Living special issue. They're pretty pricey these days, c $15 apiece, and I'm waiting to buy some until I've seen a few ...

Re: Classic Halloween photos

Well, the Psalms date back to the life of David, which I think was the 900s BC. A long time ago to us; but certainly within historuc times, when lifespans were more like ours.

I recall a discussion about lifespans I once had with a classics prof at Vanderbilt. He said Plato died on his 81rst ...
