Re: Little Halloween today!

Murf! I was getting worried about you, but I'm glad that you're alright. I'm also happy to hear that you both enjoyed the trip, and I hope that your medical appointments have been going well.

I was going to wait another week and if we didn't hear from you I would have reached out to your husband ...

Re: Little Halloween today!

It's been rainy and gloomy here the whole week ... you would like it.

I honestly like both types of weather, sometimes I like the rain and sometimes I like to feel the sun on my skin, I guess it depends on my mood.

As I get older I find that I can't stand the snow the way that I used to, now I ...

Re: Little Halloween today!

Man, that was a busy weekend! I hope that everybody here had as much fun as I did.

On Friday we had a Little Halloween party for the kids and their friends, a few of them stayed over for the night and everybody dressed up and we watched movies until 2am. Then on Sat. we decided to have a huge ...

I hope that everybody has some fun on Little Halloween this Fri.

It looks like each of us is going to be busy this weekend, I'll be throwing a party for the kids, Murf will be taking a trip with her daughter, and Andy will be going on a field trip with his friends.

Re: Catching up

That's the kind of stability that I would have killed for in my youth. While I have been in the same general area my whole life, I've lived at both ends of the city, and a few places in between. For the first few years after we left my father we moved around frequently as my mother struggled to put ...

Re: Catching up

When we were in California, my mother wanted to show us where her father's dance hall was, but when we got there it had been demolished and it was a vacant lot. I'm sure that they have built something there by now, but we haven't ever gone back. There are so many places from my own childhood that ...

Re: Catching up

I hope she enjoys it. I guess she must want to go, since I didn't ask her. She volunteered.

to tell them, "Hey, this is where I came from."

I think that most kids want to know about where their parents/family come from, it's a natural part of being human.

It's kind of impressive that one of ...

Re: Catching up

I hope that you both enjoy your trip.

When I was a kid we went to California and my mother showed us where she grew up with her family, we saw her old house and school, and she even brought us to the hospital that she was born in. I don't know if my younger siblings appreciated, or even remember ...

Re: Catching up

It looks like the images are back, thanks Chris. :)

The only way that I would leave this forum is if it permanently shut down, either due to the collapse of our civilization and the internet in general, or because a asteroid hit the planet killing everybody.

How about you, Murf? Did you join the ...

Re: Catching up

It looks like I spoke too soon, now the forum isn't loading any images, when I right click on images to open in a new tab it shows me the same forbidden message.

I have also seen a small notification come up when I try to upload images that says ... HTTP Error.

Here is a screenshot from the other ...

Re: Little Halloween today!

The MCU started out strong, but then Disney started pushing their woke agenda into the movies and they sucked for awhile. But hopefully they can bounce back from that. Yes, Tom Holland is the current actor playing Spider-Man, and he's pretty good in the role. The best movie is Spider-Man: No Way ...
