Haunted Hayride at a friends house
I have a friend with a big back yard and a few Halloween decorations stored away and a tractor with a wagon attached. I was the big horror nut who came up with the idea to make a homemade haunted hay ride just for the fun of it. So we got the decorations out and put them around the backyard. It was only a few but a start. I'm planning to buy more.
But there is this problem with sound effects. The tractor is so effing loud that I don't think you could hear a Halloween CD. We want to be able to hear them good without disturbing the neighbors with screams and moans and chainsaw roars around Memorial Day. Any ideas?

I dont think it's possible, you'll simply need a bigger and badder sound system which will annoy the neighbors....

That's what I thought. Worth trying though.

When you say a tractor, do you mean a full sized farm tractor, or are you talking about a riding mower? Cause if the cart is big enough to be pulled by a riding mower, it could probably be pulled by a golf cart, and the electric ones are almost silent.
I'm not advising you to steal a golf cart from your local golf course. But I'm also not unadvising you to, either.

Just a teensy lawnmower with a wagon big enough for like, one person.

Yeah. Then I'm definitely NOT recommending you steal a golf cart. NOT recommending that. But you should try to get one. But not by stealing. Unapproved borrowing, perhaps. But DEFINITELY DO NOT STEAL A GOLF CART.

If your good with electronics you might try making a strip of wood and attach headphone jacks to it & connect it to your ipod or cd player, just a thought!!!!! You should be able to put at least 5 to 10 headphone jacks on a strip.

i know this is a little late but next time you might consider a haunted rickshaw. then they would be able to hear the sound effects
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
