FYI: About my yard haunt

Post by iHaunt » Wed Aug 17, 2011 9:53 pm

I'd like to let every one of you know that I will not decorate my own yard haunt display this year b/c me and my girlfriend will go over to her friend's house for Halloween party, but I can only do is put Halloween lights and 3 Jack O' Lanterns outside in the front porch, that's it. My grandpa will stay at home to give out the candies to the kids so we won't be at home. :( I believe we will decorate stuffs for next year. :) Well we will have big Halloween party at my girlfriend's best friend home! :D

I don't think I'm going to be putting mine together either. I had just added to my collection of haunted graveyard items to place in my front yard. We have made pretty good friends with a retired couple across the street from us. Sadly, the husband died unexpectedly Friday night of a massive heart attack. It's very sad - we're going to miss him terribly. His wife is completely devastated and she's a bit sensitive anyway about creepy decorations, etc. She is going to have a tough year and something just feels inappropriate to me about setting up headstones and animated zombies crawling out of the ground two months after she has buried her husband.

I'll continue adding to my collection and wait until next year to unleash the terror.

Very sorry to hear that....that is sad. Maybe you can just decorate inside this year and as you said unleash the terror next year.
