Single, huh?
Nope, not single. According to the Rolling Stone article, she's been with the same guy for nearly a decade. But it isn't surprising. Considering the small number of super-hot, or super-smart, or super-rich single women out there, how teeny tiny must be the chances that one who was all three would be single??

Getting back on to the topic of Christmas Music, does anyone happen to know if Shakir@ has a cd of Christmas songs out yet??
Nice maneuver :)

I am always at church on Weds. during Advent. Well, most Weds., actually, since my husband and I both sing in the choir. So I missed Shak (why doesn't the forum like her name?). That was a good performance of that flirtatious song, though. I can easily see why you guys turned onto it!

I can't think why. It means 'thankful' in Arabic.

Nice video, NeverMore! :)

And I agree about the Santa Baby song. That's always been a favorite of mine. :D

Oh heck yes, Santa Baby is a great romantic Christmas song.

My favorite (and it's only this version) is 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' by Ray Charles.

As I am now so you must be,

I prefer the Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel version in "Elf"

But I have a little crush on Zooey Deschanel :)

She is very 'crush-able'. :)

And yes, that one is second on a very short list of versions of the song.

Elf is only watchable because of Zooey & Bob Newhart.

I guess if the movie were called Zooey and Bob instead of Elf, I might give it a chance.....

Now that Yule is past, I am listening to some winter solstice music. There is an internet station that carries it. Nice 'Hearts of Space' kind of music. Has anyone heard that on NPR on Sunday nights?

The local NPR is one of the big ones and they only offer news programming, no music shows.

The one from Santa Cruz plays a lot of music but it doesn't come in very well up here :-(
