Do you like XMAS snacks? Yeah, I do love Xmas snacks such as cheddar sausage balls, all kinds of smoked sausages and cheeses from a gift box. I'm really not into caramel or any kinds of popcorn balls, you know?

Pop corn balls are for Halloween, though I have seen them at Christmas time on ocassion. I like a nice sharp chedder chese on a Ritz cracker, but that's more of a New Years Eve snack then a Christmas snack. My sister-inlaw makes some of the tastiest Christmas cookies I ever had.

I'm not much into Christmas cookies myself, but my grandpa and some other families do!

Yeah, I love sharp cheddar on Ritz crackers! Even, I do use Easy Cheese whip, you know, you can spray the cheese around the crackers. It has sharp cheddar flavor in it!

The only with the cheese in the spray can is that it's not a very good value, and when you have 20 or so people over for the holidays, like we often do, you have to have 4 or 5 cans to serve everyone.

I prefer little diced-up blocks of the sharpest chedder I can find.

For that Easy Cheese whip can - I keep it myself for my needs only... and for Kraft Sharp Cheddar block or cubes - For everyone to eat snacks!


Original Cheddar Sausage Balls recipe:


Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork sausage
2 cups biscuit baking mix
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine sausage, biscuit baking mix and cheese. Form into walnut size balls and place on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.


These are so yummy! My aunt makes every Christmas Day. Enjoy this recipe!

Well this is the last Christmas I am going to have a normal sized stomach, so I plan to pig out a little on my sister in-law's fabulous home-made Christmas cookies. That's my plan for Christmas Day. For Christmas Eve, I plan to stay home by my own fire side, barbecue a Prime Rib, play sacred Christmas Music, light the Advent wreath and let it burn down to stubs, and spend the evening in prayer and celebration of Christ's birthday.

Then on Christmas Day I'll go and have dinner at my brother's house.

Hey, some people do serve beef jerky! BEEF JERKIES!!! yum yum yum....

I like plain beef jerky, BBQ flavored is ok!

I'm not a huge fan of jerky in general, and I never heard of it being served as a Christmas snack. There are a lot of sausages that are great as Christmas snacks.

How about XMAS crackers? Cakes? Cookies? You know you name them.

That's quite a wide range of snacks, though. Primarily, in my family the tradition is Christmas Cookies, 5 or 6 different verieties. We have ice cream kolachkies, coconute dream bars, snow balls, peanute butter kisses, Chocolate walnut clusters, toll house made with chocolate chips, too house made with M & Ms, and those are the varieties that I can think of off the top of my head. On New Years Eve, we usualy serve cheese, crackers, chips and dip, but Christmas is for cookies.

What kind of dips do you like when you feel like to eat with chips?


I like cheese dip and salsa dip for tortilla chips! And, I love vegetables such as carrots and celeries into ranch or bleu cheese dip! I do love plain potato chips into French dip.

And, for a good dinner - I love broccoli with melt cheese!

I like Ruffles Potato Chips and French Onion dip. That's a New Years Eve favorite at my house. I'm having a New Years Eve party, too and I am going to serve Beef & Whine Sauce and hard rolls for sanwiches, and I plan to put out the above mention chips and dip, along with a few other snack crackers.

We do serve small sandwiches like roast beef with swiss cheese on rye bread. Also, we do serve corned beef with swiss on roasted onions bread. Very delicious!

Roasted Corned Beef is also one of my specialties. But I usualy serve it at my St. Patrick's Day Party.

Same thing to me too! I will have corned beef with cabbage and whole white potatoes along with corn breads.
