White Christmas

A massive snowstorm is heading up the east coast, and I'm smack dab in the heart of the danger zone. The forecast is anywhere from 18" to three feet of snow by Sunday morning, and with cold weather (30's during the day, teens at night) predicted next week, it looks like it's going to be a White Christmas here for the first time since......since I can't remember when.

Anybody else gonna have a White Christmas?

I'm thinking not me. Unless I drive up to the mountains for Christmas, which I haven't done for many years.

It could literally be just about anything for us. Yesterday we had temps in the forties, today we have snow!

Enjoy Mac, but be careful! I would love to see a REAL snow like that! I want to go sledding!

I posted this elsewhere, and I'm a total butt-head for putting it here, but...

Christmas greetings from the 'left coast'.

This is from today (12-19-09)

Yes indeed. Rain is in the near future but I don't care as long as it isn't frozen!

I like it when the sun is out on Christmas, it helps to keep seasonal depression to a minimum.

I really don't mind the cold. I'd like to get away to somewhere warm soon, but I love the snow and the chill in the air. :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya Adrian! :)
It's snowy here now, but it's supposed to get up to 45 for Christmas Eve. Then they're calling for possible snow Christmas Day..it could go either way.

Yes Witchy! Definitely time for a vaca somewhere with palm trees and surf!

We took a bit of a thumpin', but it could have been worse. Ended up with about 18 inches out of the possible 36 they were calling for. It's still as cold as a lobbyist's heart out there, so anything that melts in the sun during the day is re-freezing at night. I need to be careful running tomorrow; don't want to pull a Bella and end up spending Crimbo with a gimpy paw.
