My Thanksgiving dinner is going to be very impromptu this year, but I am going to cook it on the barbecue, weather permitting. I will be alone, but that won't bother me. Anyonw who wants to stop bu the house is more then welcome, but I am going to stick with TRADITION this year. Grace at dinner, Christmas Music on the stereo and a REAL fire in a REAL fireplace.

Can you grill a pumpkin pie...? I bet you could roast the pumpkin on a grill before pie-ifying it......

My girlfriend is going to get two large round of pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Each large pie is 22 inch round!

I never cooked a pumpkin or a pumpkin pie on the barbecue. As I said, things are going to be a little "catches cat can" for me this Thanksgiving, but I will have one of those "Mrs Smth's" frozen pumpkin pies.

Yes, I love extra large New York style pizza! :D I have one restaurant here that is run by the family owner from Roma, Italy. The pizza shop name is Mini Italia New York Pizzeria.

Good food!

lets go get some :) extra cheese please
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I don't like extra cheese. I prefer pepperoni only. :)

You know what's a great combo.... Pineapple and jalapeño. The combination of hot and sweet is rockin'....

you know... i've heard of some wild food combos coming up in the world.. the new thing with ice scream is taken fried bacon... grating it to as powdery as you can get it and sprinkling it on top of your ice scream of choice.. something about the sweetness of the ice scream and the smokey-ness of the bacon bring each other out

Yeah, I don't know about that.... Meat and dairy is a tricky combo, when the dairy isn't cheese. And when it comes to desert, I'm usually not a big fan of savory interfering with my sweet.

Then again, I don't really like ice cream anyway, so adding bacon might make me like it more.... :roll:
