To quote John Stewart... this year I'll be celebrating Thanksgiving the old fashioned way.
I'm gonna invite all my neighbors over for a large feast, then I'm gonna kill them and take
their land.

I be offended by that if I were more than 1/32 Pottawatomie, the other 31/32 thinks it's hilarious! :)

My great-grandmother was Cherokee, but the German, Irish and Welsh that my pops brought into the mix has totally suppressed that.

my father is 100% cherokee :) i wish i had his dark skin. my skin isn't pale by no means but MAN his is a deep red
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Funny thing was... me and two of my sisters looked white as white can be. My other sister
had the dark hair and the high cheekbones. Looked a lot like Cher. I think she was adopted.
At least that's what I used to tell her.

Hahahaha! Adopted! My mom used to call me the milkman's kid. I'm different than my brother and sister.

I have no one in my family who is Indian.

In the summer if I stay outside often enough I go hard-core red. But it doesn't peel (or feel) like a burn, it just fades away eventually.

I'm pretty much just French-Irish with a little bit of Scots.

Part poodle part pitbull? Hmmm interesting combo there!! ;)
After that last hairstyling by witchy, *choke* it's finally grown out. :D
