Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Wow! It must be nice that SOME people have their Christmas shopping done!!!
Kidding witchy, that's great! I've GOT to start soon.
I'll have to hobble around and do it some way. I think I'll do alot online.
I need to get off these silly crutches! I enjoy Christmas shopping way too much to miss out though.

That's a nice truck to get Adrian. :) The next vehicle I get will be either a truck or a Jeep. I have been wanting a Jeep forever! One of the little fun ones with the detachable top!

.
You guys are bonkers... with the big trucks! I just paid over $400 yesterday... for tires,
alignment and all that jazz... to get my Ranger back on the street. I'm soooo tired of
paying for all that gas in my F150. I love zipping around in my little truck.

I saw a dodge extra cab like that I really wanted but of course the $40k price tag makes it out of reach for me. That ford is a good looking truck, but I wont deal with ford motor co again......but it looks nice

well, it's kind of a long story but basically I bought a brand new Merc back in 89 and it had chronic electrical issues, it was in the shop every month for the same thing over and over (blown sensors), it also had fading paint after about 14mo.

They kept telling me the sensor replacement was all I needed but I had to have it done every month, FORD refused to admit I had gotten a lemon and wouldnt do anything to fix the problems.

I got into an accident with it and took it to FORD body shop and they "forgot" to bolt the radiator in so it beat the cooling fan to death then they wouldnt fix it at their expense.

The accident wasnt their fault but the repairs were and the poor workmanship was but they wouldnt fix the fan their poor workmanship broke, they wouldnt admit the paint was poor quality, just tried to blame me for it saying I didnt use safe soap on it, but I used their soap they sold in their little shop.

I figured it was just that dealership that had issues so I called FORD Motor Co and complained and got the same run around by them as I did the dealer ship, so no more FORDs for me. Their CEO recently admitted they let their car division QA go to pot while they concentrated on their trucks in the mid to late 80's, of course that doesnt help me now. Oh well, they might make the greatest cars and trucks in the world but I will never own another one.
