I'm not really into shopping as a competitive sport, either.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone here. Sorry I didn't get a chance to poke my head in and say "hello," but it's been busy.

I LOVE Black Friday!! I don't go anywhere that I could possibly be trampled to death though. I usually make a plan of what I'm gonna get--usually clothes and other non-riot causing items and get in and get out. I stay away from places like Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy. It's never been bad. This year however, I did most of my Black Friday shopping online Thanksgiving evening since all of the stores started their sales early. I felt accomplished

I love online shopping too. It's fun to get packages in the mail :) I just recently discovered Ebates, so now I REALLY love to shop online--that was part of the reason that I chose to do most of my black friday shopping that way.

That's the nice thing aboutr buying on line. If you want to shop for a new stereo at 2:30 in the morning on Black Friday, you can do it, and there won't be any crowds to fight or long lines to wait in.

There is one down-side: Sometimes websites don't cooperate. It kinda makes me want to go into a 28 Days Later sorta rage 8)

I had a good one and thank you for asking, Jack. It was a bit chaotic as there were two toddlers running around. It was kinda like being inside an insane asylum  We had fun though.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving, but the meal was late! I had had a medical procedure the day before and couldn't do much ahead of time. Mainly, my turkey was frozen solid most of the day! I didn't get to put it on until 2 p.m. But we had a very good meal, between 7:30 & 8 pm, LOL! Turkey, sage & onion dressing, homemade cranberry sauce, both green bean and sweet potato casseroles, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie for dessert. We drank hot spiced cider. And I carved my last pumpkin for the centerpiece and roasted the seeds.

Jack, I had a very nice Thanksgiving, and gathering with my brothers and sisters. The only down-side was when the latter tipped over while I was cleaning my gutters last Friday, but I was not seriously hurt, and I got the job done. By the end of the day next Saturday I'll be totaly and completely ready for Christmas.
