this is my idea for this years halloween party

Post by adrian » Sat Aug 15, 2009 12:12 pm

So every year i host THE halloween party to be at (ages 18-25) this year i'm going with a certain theme to make sure EVERYONE is comfortable with dressing up. my idea is to decorate this big building i rent out as a giant indoor cemetery (i have the means to do this properly) and have EVERYONE dress up as zombies (scary, sexy, ect.) what ever kind of zombie you'd like to be. does this idea sound like a good idea to you guys.? i've gotten a pretty good response so far from R.S.V.P.s but i would like your opinion. a zombie themed grave yard party :) sound ghoulish enough?
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

What ever trips your trigger. Zombies were allways scary. "Night of the Living Deas" was one of the best horror movies I ever saw. You can also chang that theme. Next year it can be everyone dresses as a vampire. The following year it can be wearwolvs. You can have a ghost year, a Frankenstein year, an alienyear, and so on.

Sounds like a lot of fun. An indoor grave yard? Is that kind of like a morgue or something? I know there are ways to bury the dead inside a building. I think some states do it that way because if you had graves it would flood the bodies out. Wouldn't that make a nice site, after a flood seeing a bunch of dead bodies floating out.
I'd love to see this. I'd probably go as a zombie kitty since well, I'm a cat fanatic. I think a zombie kitty would be fun to pull off. :D
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

well i was thinking tomb stones everywhere of course and i've got enough fog machines and chillers to keep the fog low all night :) also i have this idea of having the bar be inside this walk in above ground tomb i've built.. its kind of creepy because of its doll theme (hints that its a young, rich girl's tomb)

if you're doing a cemetery theme, how about putting up those vault doors, you could make them out of poster board and put them in rows like you would see at the cemetery. and how about a crematorium? with urns? a king tut tomb would be a cool addition..

Hi adrian,
I love the Zombie idea!!!! There is so much you can do. If you can find a old barrel you can make some zombie punch, I believe its all white liquor. You can put fake body parts all around the house, I put some body parts in my bathtub with red coloring food in the water last year, that was a lot of fun. You are very lucky to have full advantage of your space, I would love to have a fogger like yours too, I have a small one :cry: . I hope your party turns out as scary as it sounds!! Witchy
