Well, we will have to plan out a party someday...somewhere warm and with water would be nice...it might get a little wild but I'm sure it'll be memorable :)
They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I can remember going to the corner liquor store and there was an American (in my neighborhood he was a white guy) behind the counter who knew all the kids in the neighborhood and had a few isles of candy including abba zaba's and .01c bubble gum, and star wars trading cards with nasty gum in the packs. You could get a bottle of soda then walk over to the other corner where there was a tire shop (also owned by an American that knew you) and would give you a nickle for the bottle......this was back in the late 70's.....

My family is gigantic and very old. My folks were my age when I was born so they were part of the Great Depression generation.

Good old fashioned upbringing is what we kids got.

That was back when you (or any grown up) could swat a kid for misbehaving and not have the nanny-police take them away from you.

Spare the rod, spoil the child.
