Halloween Music

Post by steve » Wed Sep 28, 2011 9:20 am

Hi Everyone

I have been to Halloween parties over the past few years and it's great to have some spooky atmospheric music in the background without the obvious 'Ghostbusters' cliche music.

I have produced some great sounding pieces and if any of you are interested please do contact me

Take a look at youtube, and I have to say it's really awesome, man. Great job. I will share it with my friends and have a deal with you. Thanks a lot.

I'm listening to my Halloween CD right now. It's actualy a mix that I made from my music collection that includes a lot of regular rock & roll 'top 40" tunes, but I also have that song that they sing in "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man," and a lot of selections from the tv show "Dark Shadows," including some of the selections they played in the Blue Whale, Quentins Theme and others.

I've been putting together a playlist as well... it has mostly dance music with a Halloween vibe, and also a lot of RocknRoll because that is my favorite and perfect for Halloween.

Some good dance songs with spooky themes are:
Rihanna "Disturbia"
Lady Gaga "Monster"
Ke$ha "Cannibal"
DeadMau5 "Ghosts and Stuff"
Lady Gaga "Bloody Mary"
Katy Perry "E.T."
and of course Michael Jackson "Thriller"

Other than that, some oldies like Monster Mash as well as stuff by the Black Keys, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, Florence and the Machine... and the song from the Red Riding Hood trailer "The Wolf" by Fever Ray.
