Werewolves: The Dark Survivors

Post by Midnite Shadow » Mon Oct 26, 2009 1:59 pm

Saw this last night on Animal planet...it was pretty awesome. I liked the idea behind it and the story. Check it out when you can.

The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

will do :) i haven't seen anything new on werewolves lately
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I say this from the perspective of a person who is usually 10 years late to any new technology but got in on the ground floor here.
If I no longer had a DVR I would stop watching TV!
For once a device that helps you instead of stabbing you in the back. My DVR is backed with paranormal shows, scooby doo, Black Adder, etc... It's my own little TV station that makes sense to me.
The chances of seeing the few shows I like when they are on is minuscule.

Hail,DVR!!! May he reign a thousand years!!!

...Oh, and the Werewolf show was pretty good. they go over some old stuff but actually come up with a new angle on the story that I find really plausible.
Oh, your so cool, Brewster!
Hey, Butchy. They still got Oreo's next door?
Dracula's in the house!!! In the house?!
Welcome to the party, Honey!

My bad. I'm thinking of another show.
When I say plausible I'm speaking of a man who may have kept an exotic animal as an attack dog. Sorry, adrian, but it doesn't look like a lycanthrope in this case. Still it's very interesting.

I can , however, point you in the direction of a book called simply WEREWOLF. It is a study of a man from England who seems to have been possessed. The amazing thing is that this demon manifested as a werewolf. That is to say when the beast took over his body he took on the mannerisms and appearance of a lupine creature.
This is a tale I would have laughed off were it not for the fact that it is well documented that this man went on a rampage in a hospital. All witnesses swear he seemed more creature than man, and newspaper accounts verify that it took something like 30 police officers and a load of drugs to subdue him. It is an amazing story.
If anyone's interested I'll look for the author and other pertinent info.
