I just saw this because of the rave reviews it got from you people, I have to say I liked it, it had me creeped out a few times, jumped once or twice and I dont think I'll ever be able to listen to "tip toe through the tulips" again.....

I liked it for the most part. I think it kinda changed course towards the end though. The first half was very creepy. I genuinely jumped a couple times.

I think I talked about this movie in another thread shortly after I'd viewed it. I didn't like the ending, though I liked the set-up. "Tiptoe through the Tulips" made me laugh, because I am old enough to remember Tiny Tim's singing that on the Tonight Show. It was always a novelty song and has the appropriately weird sound for a scary movie, but it just took me to a whole different place.

I was thinking about renting this over the weekend. I think I will now after reading some of the reviews on here.

To me, it seemed like a cross between Amityville Horror & Poltergeist. It does have some creepy moments.

Well we rented it & we thought it was scary & creepy. At the point where the old lady says it's their son that's haunted, not the house our 4 year old boy who was upstairs asleep in his bedroom woke up at the exact point screaming & terrified! That freaked us both out!

It was the scariest film I've seen for a long, long, time!

Turns out he was having a nightmare over 9/11 as he walked in earlier in the afternoon when I was watching a documentary on it on Nat Geo. He ended up seeing the planes hit the towers. Poor thing.

That reminds me of the time my little sister first saw 'Friday the 13th' (the original movie). She was sitting in a chair by the front door, during one of the scariest scenes, the cat jumped in through a hole in the screen door. The kid almost hit her head on the ceiling, she jumped so high. We couldn't even finish watching the movie. The laughing just wouldn't stop.

Just watched Insidious tonight. I've got mixed feelings on it, but most of them good. It felt like Paranormal Activity at first then completely switched gears to something else. Good flick.

And yeah, the music at the end was awesome.
