Dolls...

Post by Halloween_Girl » Wed Jul 16, 2008 6:07 pm

We don't like to talk about it but....do you believe that dolls can come alive? Personaly I do and don't think so. I don't really like to talk about it but ever since I heard this ONE story it scares me  :

This is scary - be prepared...
OK. So let me tell you my story...
Me and my friend were playing with the swing out in my back garden, with our two ragdolls. It would swing you across a clear stream, and you would let go and land the other side. Well, my friend was about to go, and I shouted "WAIT!! let me just put Lucy and Linda here so they can watch you!!"
I propped up the dolls, looking at their smiling faces, then turned round to look at my friend, about to jump.
1, 2, 3...she jumped to the other side, but before she hit the ground the rope snapped. She fell right into the stream!!
I picked the rope out of the stream, and put it nexto Lucy and linda. Then I leapt clear across the stream.
I ran to get dad, while my friend lay there. I think she broke her leg - i dunno. But when I came back with dad, she wasn't in the stream. We looked up, and she was hovering in the air - no, she wan't hovering...god, she was hanging from her neck, tied round the rope. And nexto her were the ragdolls.
They weren't smiling.
Oh no.
Grinning.
Evilly.
Yuck.
Ragdolls, ropes, and your best friend -
a dangerous mix

My ex girlfriend said when she was little she cut all the hair off one of her old dolls and it grew back  I have no reason not to believe her.

I do get creeped out really bad by certain dolls. I have an old clown doll that's probably older than me. I've had it as long as I can remember. It's got a two sided head. A sad face on one side and a happy face on the other. I love it, but it is creepy. My wife makes me keep it in the closet out of sight.

It's the idea that spirits can inhabit dolls therefore making them move. Think Chucky, but not to that extreme. The same as how spirits can make any other inanimate object move. I guess since they don't have a real human body they choose to take on the closest form of a human they can: a doll. At least that's my theory on haunted dolls. Could be something else.

Did I hear that part right in the Robert video where a psychic said that he was slowly dying and his hair was turning grey? That's intriguing.

Here's what I believe, dolls DO NOT come alive on there own. Spirits inhabit them for some strange reason. But for some reason people haven't talked about moving dolls as much UNTIL the first Chucky movie came out. Anyone else notice that? :?

I believe in spirits. But spirits going into dolls is just weird. I do not believe that.

I am right behind you there! I always thought that was possible. I just don't understand why the dolls would do something that evil!! I mean, what could possibly have provoked them!!
Happy Halloween All Year Long!!!

Robert the Doll

Post by HalloweenDot » Wed Sep 28, 2011 4:54 pm

I hadn't heard of it until today! I was talking to a friend who was describing it.

I'm hoping to go down to Key West in October, and if so am going to take some pictures of it!

She said she stayed in the house in the turret room (she is a travel agent) a few years ago and that it was pretty spooky.
