Real or Fiction?

Maybe they could be real one day, who knows?

I don't know. It's far-fetched, but I like to believe anything is possible. After all, we know not what kind of things are floating around out there in space, and should something crash into earth, subsequently resurrecting our loved ones, like in Romero's Night...well, it's possible, is all.

I have heard stories of an old Voo Doo, Hoo Doo mixture that can cause a person to appear dead for days. After the burial the people would wake up underground and begin to dig and claw their way out. Crazy from the ordeal.
They would be considered the walking dead.
Creepy.
All "monsters" have real origins. There is truth in fiction.

Was that what Craven's 'Serpent and the Rainbow' was all about? I never actually saw it.

Absolutely. I definitely feel they could be and someday will be. With the possiblites science is bringing, and with all we know about methods already in use to try and preserve the dead, I'm fairly sure thats is in our future. I blogged about it not too long ago here: http://thehalloweenhorrorblog.blogspot.com/

I've heard of nerve agents that could make people into zombies. I don't think they actualy die and come back to life like they did in "Night of the Living Dead" and other zombie movies, but there are nerve agents that can cause people to act very violent.

Watching Glen Beck can induce similar symptoms.

But, wait till you find yourself alone in a graveyard and the sun is rapidly fading from the sky and you spot that lumbering figure in the distance...

"They're coming for you, Barbara!!!"  (From George A. Romero's movie, Night Of The Living Dead. :D

It's nice to see the some people never change.

Zombies can be found at your nearest mall or discount outlets.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Exactly. One of the best social commentary movies with zombies!
