Yeah, it will put a major damper on Christmas that year.

Yeah that's right, I wonder how it'll affect Christmas? Perhaps people will want to celebrate early that year?
I don't know. I don't think people should let it interfere with the Christmas spirit. I know it seems scary and all but I don't think anything is really going to happen.

That's a good point. Many people are going to have their Christmas ruined, but I seriously believe that NOTHING is going to happen. It will be just another "didn't happen" to be added to a list of others. For example:

In 1960, everyont thought that we were going to ge in a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. A lot of tough talk went back & fourth, but it didn't happen.

The Jahova's Whitnesses predicted the end of the world in boty 1925 and 1975. Didn't happen.

Back in the late 70s, my high school was all a buzz. The world was supposed to end in 1980. 1980 came and went and nothing happened.

According to many students of Naustrodamus, a global famine was supposed to break out in 1985. It didn't happen.

In 1988, California was supposed to fall into the Pacific. That didn't hapen.

In 1997, a nuclear war between one of the Arab nations, and the United States alied with Russia was supposed to break out, and last 27 years. That didn't happen.

In the year 2000, the Y2K bug was supposed to render our entire civilization obsolete. That didn't happen.

As recently as April 10th of this year, the "great warning" of Garabandal was supposed to happen, ushering in the great tribulation and the rise of the antichrist. That didn't happen.

The Mayan calender predicts that the world will end in 2012.

Scientists say that we could be hit by an astroid in 2012, 2016, r 20230.

Won't Happen. If and when it does happen, it will likely happen when nobody expects it.

Well, Andy that is actualy possible. In fact, there is hard scientific evidence that an object did in fact hit the earth and cause mass extinctions. The Earth has been hit by smaller metorites in the past as evidenced by Meteor Crater in Arizona. And let's not forget about our selvs. The United States, Russia and various other countries STILL have huge stock piles of nuclear weapons, and with countries like India, Pakisstan who got the bomb, and countries like Iran who are working hard to get the bomb, there's also a likely scenario that we could end up with Armagedden on our hands through our own doing, too.

I personaly think that global warming, while it won't necessarily end the world as we know it, it just might devistate our civilization, and many regions of the Earth will become uninhabitable.
