Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
That's the heart of why it's funny. Geraldo is a nut, but in that segment Colbert brought up he was the only one not acting like a nut. Crazy.
Oh, your so cool, Brewster!
Hey, Butchy. They still got Oreo's next door?
Dracula's in the house!!! In the house?!
Welcome to the party, Honey!

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
i only watch it when i can catch it

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

To answer your earlier question Adrian, we go to a little lot out in the country. A guy grows them on his property.
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep, and I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep. Did you hear me butterfly? Miles to go before you sleep."

i can't remember where the farm is for the likes of me though

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
We used to go out and cut our own trees, it has been awhile though since we have.
We usually get them off his lot on his farm. He has great ones.

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
HA! The friends I live with have 25 acres of all types of trees, but they go to the city to get their tree from a lot that they used to go to when they were just starting out.
Sentimental, I guess.

That is very sentimental.
But I think I would want the ones I grew.

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
There is an adorable little pine tree down along the driveway, all by itself but it's a good bet that I can run an extension cord down to it.
I'm going to have it lit up for their return when they go Christmas shopping next week as a surprise.
I'll post a pic.

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
The only trick is going to be getting down the hill to the tree. Its a really steep grade and the only place to go is down a steep ravine.

Re: NEEDLESS THINGS
It helps to think about things from all perspectives.
The little tree is waaaaay down the hillside from the deck, but only about 6 feet from the bottom of the hill...along the driveway
