"Alternative" Holidays

Alright, not that anything could possibly replace Halloween, what I'm talking about are Holidays like Hannukah and the passover that the jews celebrate, then you have Kwanzaa which I think is African in Origin, and I think the muslims have some of their own holidays.
I did mention that some cultures have their own version of Halloween, Like the japanese oban week and Mexico's dia de muertos. But, I think Japan celebrates both Oban week and the traditional North American/European style Halloween, but I could be wrong. I know that Halloween is celebrated in the anime Blood: The Last vampire, but the main character is also visiting America, or at least an american army base. I can't remember which, it was a confusing movie.
I've always wanted to go to a passover or a bar mitzvah or bat mitzvah (for girls) because of my jewish ancestry. I'm not a full blooded jew, my great grandfather was one until he converted to Christianity. So, I don't follow any of the jewish traditions, but I would like to experiance a Hannukah, a passover, or even a bar mitzvah or a bat mitzvah myself.
I don't think anything could possibly replace Christmas either, but if i had it my way I'd celebrate the Christian and Jewish holidays together.
Is it true that Jews don't celebrate Halloween? Maybe some do, I wouldn't really know for sure.
Thoughts on these other holidays?
