I like big trucks like Peterbilt 379, Kenworth W900, and some other semi trucks. I find that myself has racist against Jeep/Chrysler vehicles. :?

IT's funny you guys should mention the Corvette. I was looking at a 1988 Corvette the other day, and was seriously considering buying it. After taking a look at my finances, though, I decided that would have been an error in judgement.

1988 is Corvette 35th anniversary model. That car only has abour 240 horsepower from a 350 5.7L V8. Engine come a long way since that.

That was part of the reason why I didn't buy it. The fact that it was under powered, and the fact that my finances are strained enough at the present time. Still, though, it was a very beautiful car, and it had all the original parts.

As for a new Corvette, I simply don't have the 70 or 80 grand that they want for one any more.

An old friend of mine had 1976 Corvette in 1998, sadly it was broken down. No good. It was sent to the junkyard. :?

Chang, comparing a Corvette to an Italian Super Car like a Lambergini or a Ferari, is like comparing a Kraig Super Computer to a lap top. Don't get me wrong. The Corvette is a great car, but it's mass produced on an assembly line. The Italian Super cars you mentioned are all hand made, and there is usualy a 6 month to 18 month wait for one to be delivered unless you buy one used. A Ferari or a Lambergini will also leave a Chevy Corvette in the dust, unless the Vet has been altered or "sooped up" in some way.

True of regular Corvette or even Z06 but the ZR1 will compete a lot closer than you know. Look up specs in Internet and see for yourself. Very comparable at less than half the cost.

Chang, I did look it up. IT's close but no "cigar." The Vet you mentioned is very quick. IT's also the most expensive, at even half the cost of a Lambergini or a Ferari.

iHaunt, I would LOVE to own a Ferari, Lambergina, or even a Rolls Royce, (apples and orgnges again) but I seriously doubt I'll ever be able to afford it. I might own a Lincoln the next time I purchase a new car, but that's as about as far as I'll be able to push it, unless I either win the Lotto, or Studio O'Brien Photography becomes a Fortune 500 company.

I know that Ferrari is very expensive that I really can't afford it. :? So anyone seen Lotus cars before? I've seen one before, and the car dealer told me it costs $300,000! I really can't believe it, but it look very good. Its sporty car! It has only two seats. It can run up to 260 mph.

IHaunt most everything you say about Lotus is wrong. It top speed less than 200 and it cost under $100,000. Everyone you talk to about car lies to you for some reasons.
