Thanks for your well-wishes! Our family went to see The Avengers movie in the afternoon, then had a Mexican supper at home. I actually forgot about the Derby until much later. I gather it was a fast one, maybe set a record?

It was a great race...very surprising finish...the horse that won was 43-1 odds

You forgot that last Friday was Star Wars Day?!? May the 4th be with you anyway.

I was disappointed on Saturday when I went to Old Town to immerse myself in some Mexican culture and all I saw were college students wearing sombreros and ponchos, and drinking lots of margaritas. November 1st and 2nd are much a much better time to go somewhere like that if you want to celebrate Mexican style.

Really, I just use them both as an excuse to drink!! Not that I usually need one; it just makes it more legitimate!!! lol
