Apparently ghosts are what I'm into this year.

That's what Halloween is all about, Andy. Ghosts. Don't get me wrong. There's plenty of room for witches, vampires, space aliens, and my personal fav, werewolves, but the main attraction are haunted places, haunted attractions and 'spook houses' that we all knew and loved over the years. October is my favorite time of the year, and one of my favorite activities is going on a "haunted road trip," a.k.a. as "legend tripping."

You're right, Mike. Ghosts are at the heart of it.

I am looking forward to visiting at least one creepy place for photos this month if not 2 or more. The trouble is finding a place that hasn't gone under the wrecking ball as of yet.

We are not on ' shelter in place' in my little town in Oregon, yet, so I went thrifting today.

The usually pack away the holiday stuff so this must have just come in.

It's about 10 in tall and about 8 in wide and it is painted tin.

The Man in the Moon is thick frosted glass and it holds a votive candle.

It has a label from the company PartyLite, which is and or was a company that dealt in home accent lighting, mostly candles and holders.

$3.99 and it is mine!

( apparently originally it had come with a little glass ghost ornament but no big deal, I can find something to hang from that branch.) https://www.google.com/search?q=partyli ... sUT2RgVOsM:

Those are beautiful. I do plan to go thrifting at some point, but if all else fails, I'll do it online. I certainly hope this Covid 19 thing is over before October. I would hate it if ToT and social distancing put a damper on things, and I was planning on having a bash. Hopefully I'll get to do that by then, but you never know.

I think it will be over sooner rather than later.

That's what I'm thinking, too. I'm hearing some good news from various places, and as far as I know, there are no known COVID 19 cases reported in my town, which actually has a hospital.

Our governor just said they expect it to peak in TN by April 20. I hope things can start being more normal soon. I hear great things about that hydroxychloroquine/z-pack treatment. I don't understand why that is not in more general use. Neither drug is new.

The only problem with new drugs is the danger of side effects that we don't know they could have as of yet. I do think this Covid 19 situation is going to blow over pretty soon, however. As the weather gets warmer the flu isn't as big a problem, but we will still have to be careful.

I really want to go on a 'haunted road trip,' however.
