But these, which I just discovered today, if you hang these up on your porch you're gonna have the cops at your door.

These are WAY over the edge.

I've been looking for a head with hair I can put in Jason's hand but have come up with nothing at the local Halloween stores, but you're right, these are over the top....

The first two are good for that. But if you're OCD about realism, you'll want the last two.

This is pretty good. Unless you want a fresh head.

....
Those are cool!

I got a prop head a few years ago that has an arm and hand attached to it, holding the head by the hair. You put your hand inside the fake arm and use your fingers to move the mouth. That, combined with my headless mask made for a pretty neat effect.

This was before I made the shoulder piece and
I only had a black cloth draped across my chest
to hide the edge of the mask.

The final effect was pretty awesome and apparently I don't have any pictures of it. I'll have to ask my friends if they have any. I did make a small video of it in action with my webcam. Check it out here.

It is quite detailed. I am looking at trying to figure out if it is real! I do think there is some artistry here.

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Rising Dead Man wrote:The one with the womans face cut off and her body cut open is just WAY TOO DISGUSTING!! I like gory stuff but even I hate that one. It is just taking Halloween decorations too far. Anyways I like the first picture of severed head. The only thing I don't like about that one is that the cleaver looks too fake. It is the plastic one you can get for like, a buck.

Ah, me when I was 15.

I'd totally get the gutted woman now. I'd hang her in a shed at Halloween and bust out at trick or treaters dressed as Ed Gein with a roaring chainsaw. In the less macabre and more cheery months I'd put her on the floor in the center of a pentagram when the religious come to my door. I'm still mostly into old houses, graveyards, and skeletons but there is a warm, sticky place in my heart for the most deviant gore.
