There is actually a store in Berkeley, CA, called The Bone Room. Its a skeletal museum/store where you can buy actual skeletal human and animal parts. They had skulls for sale there as well. When I was up there for a while, I discovered the store, and when I inquired where they got the skulls from and if it was legal to sell them, the clerk said that they find the skulls that have washed down the Ganges River and that since they were not American skulls, it was in fact legal to sell them to the public.
