Peter the Paranoid Pumpkin??? I think I could get into that when I was 6. Come to think of it, it might even be fun now that I'm 60.

Are you asking for recommendations? My kids are grown, but I recall a couple of adorable Scary Godmother tv specials that I think were based on books.

I wouldn't mind finding some old "kiddie" Halloween records to play for my grand nieces and nephews.
