That song would be good for Walpurgisnacht, which is coming up at the end of this month.

At the moment I'm more in Easter mode myself, but, yes, we are almost to the halfway point. This year is flitting by.

And, speaking of Walpurgisnacht--

My husband and I took a back way to the grocery store tonight, and drove through a neighborhood we don't see every day. One of the houses had a huge skeleton in front of it, one of those that towers over the yard. I wondered if it were a Walpurgisnacht reference.

My daughter has told me already that she wants to watch Wicked with me tomorrow in Walpurgisnacht observance.

I'm low-key for the day, wearing orange and black and watching the Munsters.

We already watched Wicked, since she has work tonight, and I have choir. It was a good choice for a springtime Halloweenish vibe, since the movie is brightly colored and generally energetic.

As usual, I'm late to the party. I hope that everybody that celebrated enjoyed the day.

I like the new version of that song, but I prefer the original version, we used to listen to it at parties when we were teens and even though it came out in 1987 it was still popular.

By the way, happy Star Wars day to anybody celebrating.

I must confess, I would not have remembered Star Wars Day.

Ministry is one of my favorite 80s bands, but not the death metal stuff.

'With Sympathy' and 'Every day is Halloween ' are the only works by them that I listen to.

Believe it or not, I discovered Ministry because of the n.W.o. storyline in wrestling in the summer of 1996, I was in a music shop wearing my wrestling shirt and the guy behind the counter thought it was related to the Ministry song. I didn't know what he was talking about so he played the N.W.O. song for me and my friend and we both liked it so the guy recommend the Psalm 69 album and we got it, which led us to their other albums.

With Sympathy was a good 80s synth album, with my favorite song being Effigy. I would say that my favorite song from them is So What, more recently I also like Lay Lady Lay, the cover of the Bob Dylan song from the Cover Up album.

I guess I should give a listen.
