Halloween 2009: Falls on a SATURDAY!

Post by I B Howlin' Wolfman » Wed Nov 07, 2007 2:00 pm

Halloween of 2009 falls on a Saturday.

Halloween of 2008 falls on a Friday.
And according to the celestrial powers that be,
will also feature a FULL MOON! I'm not exactly
sure when the Full Moon landed on Halloween
before, but I believe I remember I was pretty
young. Still ToT-ing, if I remember correctly.

I also remember that my mother told us that we,
(my brother & sisters,) would all be in our 50's
when the full moon lands on Halloween again.

Took it's darned sweet time, didn't it?

lol

we had a full moon the night of our halloween party- close enough for us.

That's awesome about it being on a Friday next year. We may just have our party on Halloween night. Do we dare?!?

Next year is on a Friday Night with a Full Moon  :D Yippie, oh boy, next Halloween should totally rock! Well that is if our city officals don't squish the fun out of everyone like they did this year " our city has a complete ban on Fireworks now" I think I might have heard 2 fireworks in my area, and it was sooooooooo quiet out.

Can't wait for next year then, thanks for sharing the Info Wolfman

I remember all of us talking about this in the Summer and how cool it would be to all get together on that special Halloween night!

It's two years down the road and lot of things can happen but it's still a lot of fun to think about! What a blast that would be!!!!

I would still love for that to happen too!!! So much planning, and sort of expensive, yeah, but completely worth it! :D

There were a couple of threads where te talked about it.
We were touching on location and cost.... you know, things to get the ball rollin'. Do some searching through the Halloween General forum. You'll find 'em. I still REALLY want for us all to get together! Even if it's just a handful of us!

maybe we could do it depending on location, i know a couple of people live in georgia and virginia and i live in kentucky and there are also a few others who live in KY, we could maybe do it because we are all kind of close. that would be so much fun!

In 2008, it'll be a full moon.
So naturally, I demand, er...
"suggest" that it be held at the
Wolfman's place. In FLORIDA!

Where it'll actually be WARM?
(And you don't need to wear
woolies under your costumes??)

(Ha! "Demand" )

Hopefully, the food would
actually be EATEN this time?

If we do it this way, I'll plan
a Haunter's Only Party.

Kind of North West of Tampa...
Here's a map, to the Apartment Complex Address.
If you zoom in on the green arrow, you'll see a dead-end in the
apartment complex, (to the upper right.) My building is right there.
Switch to satellite view, and you can see that there is one building
there. That's my building, #6.
