Pumpkins?

Post by listeningeyes » Tue Oct 02, 2012 8:52 am

Hey everyone! Happy October! So I just carved my first of many pumpkins that I do every October and I BARELY filled up a small saucer with the guts :? Also they are super dry and in the walls of the pumpkin it's like rope.so strange.I remember back in the day that when I carved the guts would be really wet and slimy and there would be an entire walmart trash bag full of guts when I was done.what's up with that?
You don't even know the danger you're facing

And if you hear me I'll enjoy trying to find you

I think it's because of the unusually hot summer, I'm just glad we have some pumpkins at all, with the drought and all!!

That's so disappointing. I always feel like cracking into a pumpkin is like looking for the prize in a cereal box. It can such a let down if you get something like a sticker. But a color changing spoon was always the best! LOL! How I got there from pumpkin carving I have no idea. Sorry your pumpkin was a let down. Maybe you'll have better luck with your next one! Now I'm worried about all of our pumpkins down here...
I've met The Great Pumpkin.

I also heard it was going to be a rough year for pumpkins :(

PS - SpookyBlackKat you're right color changing spoons were the best! Although we once got some limited run Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal and it came with a bowl shaped like Donatello. It was to big to even fit in the box they shrink wrapped it to the outside!

That is a big pumpkin now I'm hungry. Looks like a good time to break for lunch.
