I think I said this before but we're giving out candy and glow bracelets, we figure all kids love to glow right, and it helps them be visible so it's safe too right??

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

These have a light inside so they are not glow in the dark as such. However,I have heard of GITD bubble gum. Who knows what else is out there?
By the way, I found my beloved Sixlets candy at the local Dollar Tree. They have a ton of old fashioned candy. Sweet! :alien:

I certainly think the older styled candies taste better then the new-fangled stuff does, and some of the old world recipes that people use to use when they made home made "Trick or Treat" items were out of this world. My late brother use to make all kinds of candy to give out as Christmas presents for all of us. My favorite were his Bavarian Mints that he made from scratch.

But I don't want to drift off topic. I still think the best treats to hand out, if you can find them, are those "Slow Poke" lolly pops that they use to hand out when I was a kid. They were inexpensive and they were DELICIOUS, by mass produced candy standards.

Hey guys. I know it's not exactly the same, but ACT II is selling pre made and packaged popcorn balls. I saw them for sale at WALGREENS and BIG LOTS.
Have any of you seen those huge GUMMI creatures? They have giant gummy earthworms, centipedes, and octopus tentacles. Also saw gummy zombie hands. Personally I hate eating anything gummy, but these are great to look at and the kids love torturing each other with them.

Don't feel to badk Adrian. After all, you do have to make sure that the "Trick or Treat" candy is fit for human consumption. I "checked" my stashof butter fingers on a .........a.......... couple of ocassions. (Narf Narf)
