We have Halloween month here. We start the first weekend in October decorating inside and out. We have a huge bon-fire/ hayride party around the 2nd weekend, we go camping and have a huge campground party the 3rd weekend and then Halloween finishes off the month. It is great! And we get to wear our costumes at least 3 times a year!!!
I am the shadow on the moon at night

this year we begin our new tradition :) we're calling it "Bring In the Night!"

this will be an annual party for years to come!! it will always be on the first weekend of october in celebration of the holiday month
it will always be around a fire with an all black clothing theme!
it'll also be full of foods that everyone brings :) i love getting friends together :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I usually purchase a new mask every year, Birthdays, a store around here, said that they would have their full Halloween stuff in stock by today so I might go into town tomorrow and see what I can snap up. :D
