I Want Summer Back!!!!

When it gets to be August, we all want Summer to be over. When it's mid March, many of us can't wait until Spring and Summer returns. I am really sick of the snow, cold and inconvenience, not to mention having to wait until it's warm enough to ride my Harley.

As much as I love Halloween, I am going to make a point of enjoying every single Spring, Summer and Fall day. If I can afford it, I will be headed to Colorado. But even if all I can afford is a stay-home-&-sleep-late vacation, I am still going to RELLISH every moment, and spend hours on end cruising around to close by places on the Harley. I may even ask the lady across the street from me who's my age and single if she would like to cruise along with me.

BUT, the main point is, I am going to ENJ0Y Spring and I am going to ENJOY Summer, even if it KILLS ME!!

I've been working in the attic of my buddy's store, 80° today. I wouldn't mind a little cold and snow bout now.

Well, you know the old saying: "The grass is always greener in the other guy's yard." But, I am still going to make every minute of this comming Spring, Summer and Fall count for something. I am going to ride my Harley, celebrate my Birthday, light off tons of fireworks on the 4th of July, and do lots and lots of barbecueing and grilling. Then when Fall finaly does roll around, I am going to start making my Halloween plans.

We are supposed to be in the low 70s today as well, Andy, though it was in the 30s when we woke up this morning, with frost on the windshields.

I sure will, Rising Dead Man. I don't know what my finances are going to be in regards to a 'haunted road trip,' but I am going to go some place, even if it's just some place in Illinois.

After years of trying, I have finally persuaded my husband to explore state parks with me. Those are hidden gems in most states, well worth exploring wherever you live.

Back in November we drove to Fall Creek Falls in eastern Middle TN. It is actually the tallest waterfall in the eastern US, taller than Niagara. Of course, the volume of water coming over it is a mere trickle compared to Niagara, but still it is very picturesque.

It's the contrast that makes life pleasurable. Without those chilly sixties, you wouldn't appreciate the upper seventies as much.

Kind of like aging, only in reverse.

Macphantom, I'll say one thing for sure. If I NEVER see another snow flake for the rest of my life, if I NEVER see another day below 70 degrees again, if I NEVER have another snow day again, it will be TOO SOON.
