Thanks for sharing that Nevermore! I want to make a neat looking relish tray myself. It'll just consist of olives, pepperoni, summer sausage, crackers and cheese.
Nothing wrong with that Andy, sometimes simple is best! We're having company this year so we're probably going to have a bigger feast.

Nah... was too hot to work outside. 81° today. Stayed inside with the air conditioning on.

Andy, your Thanksgiving feast looks just fine!
I want to get the Christmas stuff up this weekend, but it will be challenging to fit all that in.

It was a chilly 74 yesterday so I had to wear longer shorts than usual.
Our forecast is for rain tonight and into next week.
We could get spoiled with this rain every month or so, pattern.

Can you send some of that rain down here? We gave the Giants our skipper so you owe us one.

I don't follow sports so you can have him back.
You'll have to pry the water out of our cold, inanimate water distribution system.

Ummm. Didn't the Giants just win some big series or something? Was probably big news around your town. As for the water, don't worry about it. The city just passed a resolution to start recycling sewer water to supplement the local water supply. Remember that next time you drink one of our world class beers.

Lol; I actually thought of you when the news broke about the plan to give you back your water.
And I think it was a Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Sheesh! Why don't you just wiggle your nose, or wave you wand, or whatever you witches do and have it done with?
Did you remember to make one of these? Except I think I would have left the head off and had ketchup running down the neck.
I wish!!!
Love the idea with the ketchup!!

I just think it's funny that Nevermore's picture which was meant to pick on Witchy actually inspired me to make one that was similar. And it was a real hit at Thanksgiving too:
My Thanksgiving display was rather simple in comparison to the Halloween one, but I don't have as many decorations for Thanksgiving as I do for Halloween and Christmas. Halloween and Christmas are the two big holidays, but I felt Thanksgiving deserved a little bit of homage to the season:
As you can see I used some of the same decorations that I used for Halloween like the candles. So that worked out well.
Now the table is decorated for Christmas, the challenge is going to be how to keep the cats from knocking the trees over. lol

Your turkey salt & pepper shakers remind me of the ones my mother bought in the '60s! I still have them, but I use them only for decoration now, since they flow too freely for my taste.

Got it... thanks! No excuse me while I paddle the house back up the stream.
