That sounds so autumnal.

It was! Vandy won at the last minute, 16-13, though MTSU had led the entire game. MTSU also had the better quarterback, a freshman whom even the Vandy fans (among whom we were seated) called "amazing." Our sons sat separately from us, among the students. MTSU son was cheerful about the loss. He is a football fan and just enjoys watching the game, regardless. He used to play it and understands the strategies better than any of the rest of us.

We all came home to eat chili and watch SNL. It was a fun night.

It wasn't that long ago when MTSU was a division below Vandy. For them to have played as well as they did no doubt made Vandy feel fortunate to get out with a win. Alabama murdered georgia and it looks like this will be one of those seasons with surprises galore.

Oh, you are right there. Vanderbilt is not having a strong season so far, and MTSU is definitely on the rise. MTSU has the better quarterback, for sure.

This year is going by way too fast. Feels like yesterday summer had just started. Well, it actually still feels like summer here...but that's what I get for living in Texas.
I've been watching a lot of videos from StiltBeast on YouTube, I'm thinking about corpsing a skeleton.
