Well, PM, I wish I would know about Horror Thanksgiving movies... I have no idea if they do have Horror Thanksgiving movies, but only Horror XMAS movies. Where is horror thanskgiving??

I'm bummed -- I'm not going to be able to cook a turkey this year. Either I'm going to have to buy one pre-cooked or go out to dinner. Since we don't have family here, we don't go anywhere where someone else will be cooking the turkey. My house is 16 years old and our wall oven is one of the original appliances. The oven does not work -- it has officially died. Considering its age, and the cost of the service call, parts, and repair, we're better off buying a new one. I've been cooking everything on the stove or by microwave. Because of my husband's involvement with coaching our son's football team (he eats, sleeps, drinks, and breathes football in his spare time), he said we'll get a new oven after football. This is ridiculous -- I think this is because he's cheap and wants to avoid the installation fee. When I asked him how I'm going to cook Thanksgiving dinner, he said "Oh, we'll just work around it."

I'm going to barbecue a very small turkey breast this year. It's my older brothers turn to host Thanksgiving, and I'll probably not be going because of my tiny stomach being so sensitive, so I am going to take a nice couple of days off at home, sit by the fire, play Christmas music and on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, put my Advent Wreath together.

I usualy barbecue a turkey breast for my bday in July, and last year I did our Thanksgiving turkey out on the barbecue, and it came out Scrumptious. It was juice, and the stuffing was done to a tee. My niece made the mashed potatos, my siste in-law made the candied yams, and there were a whole host of other foods brought there, including our longest lived family Thanksgiving TRADITION, Risc Crispie Cookies, more commonly known as Rice Crispie Marshmellow Treats.

Hi everyone, I bake mine in the oven with a 2 litter of cherry Coke in it & bake it 4 to 6 hours, it's Delilous, Ok now I want Turkey & stuffing, Yummy!!!

Cherry coke is good, witchy! I also love using Dr. Pepper and cloves and cherries.

But i do sometimes like a little sweet on turkey.
Last year I did it with a little mole and some red wine. AWESOME!
The mole was made by a friend of mine from Puerto Rico.

mole? ewwww the only two things that are named mole that i know of are the those little rat creatures and those that grow on people..... yuck hahaha
so i assume mole is something to cook with?

LOL!!!!!!!!! Nope I haven't tried the furry or the body mole type yet!
