When I go to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manhiem PA (not that far from Hershey) I wear a cloak. The faire runs from August up till the end of October so later in the season it can get cold. The cloak works really well, you can wrap it around yourself if you get cold and if its hot out you can push it back. I also wear green leggings which are great for keeping my legs warm. In October when it does get cold I will substitute my sleeveless green tunic for a long sleeve green shirt. A long sleeve shirt can do fine for just about any costume. Leggings are really effective, you can wear long underwear under them if you really want to be warm. And of course, as mentioned above, a cloak works wonders.

I'm supposed to go to that this October! ^_^ The boyfriend's taking me and I'm so excited about it! I love cloaks, but I don't know where I can find a decent one for a good price. I'm a poor college kid now. =[

The cloak that I wear cost me over $300 but thats because I bought it from a very renowned cloak maker and I had it custom made. You might, however, be able to find a cloak on the internet for under $100. The first cloak that I wore I believe cost me under $100 which I got off the internet and it was a good cloak. It was not as warm as the cloak I wear now and it was more plain, but it was a good cloak. I retired that old cloak however when I got the new one which I wear now. I am at the Renaissance Faire quite often and I dress all in green. I wear a big green cloak with gold trim and with a wolf on the back, and I also wear a big sword. The Renaissance Faire really is terrific!
