Yeah me too, water over fire anytime. I live up high, plus my friend downstairs has a boat lol.
But yeah Adrian, TWISTER!! I've seen a few of them. One from wayyyy too close!
I was out driving in the country when a storm hit. I was just getting close to my destination, when the storm stopped and it all got silent. No wind, nothing. I stopped the car just to get out and stretch and not a 1/4 mile fro me this twister drops down. Woooow what a rush!
It's almost like watching a poisonous snake move back and forth, it hypnotizes you. But I ran for a ditch. Luckily it moved off in the other direction!

Lol I'm not sure if it works or not. It headed the other way, I didn't get a chance to find out.
But I would much rather have something sturdy to hide in out of the weather!

We had 2 come last year not dressed, wasn't too happy about that since everyone else did (some went all out) and it was written on the invite!
So, I"m stressing it this year again.

I do plan to have a bonfire in my back yard some weekend in October, but on the actual day, I have a fire in my fire place. If the "little ones" come over, we have a hot dog roast in myliving room, and I put on a horror movie and we eat Halloween candy and celebrate Halloween with all of my jack o'lanterns. I don't serve or allow any alcoholic beverages, however, because I don't want anyone driving home from my party drunk. Besides, most of the party guests are little kids anyway.

Like all the partys, friends are most important. If you have friends at the party everything should be fine.
