Thanks for the tip but with my inexperianced hands it is almost impossible. I tried a pumpkin kit but the blades broke after a few pieces. :( Now that's cheap. :?

sorry about the cheapness of the carving kit.... my dad does all the pumpkin carving ... not the most artistic person

I've been carving pumpkins and making patterns for years.

And I don't like those little saws either. (their too short and made cheap)

What I use is a #2 exacto knife handle - and exacto keyhole saw blades

I carved over 75 pumpkins for a farm last year using only (2) of these blades

You have to be careful with those cheesy saws.
