I could really spend a ton of time there. How cool. Stories told in sculptures.

Those are very nice photos. The Rolls Royce hearse is one sweet ride.

Those are really great pictures! I love cemeteries myself. I live in the UK & have been meaning to get to some of the ones in London. I go to one near where I live a couple of times a year as I like looking at the different tombstones & dates on them. I love the peacefulness & tranquility of cemeteries.

Do any of you visit your local cemeteries?

Not to sight-see, no. My in-laws are buried in one not far from our house, and we go there a couple or three times a month to check on the flowers, etc. There is one really old cemetery in town, but it is locked pretty much all the time. I guess folks are afraid of vandalism.

There is an old cemetery in southeast Arkansas where my mother and most of her family are buried. She told me that she used to go to it on picnics when she was a little girl and play hide & seek among the tombstones. I know I won't be buried there, but I have been going to it all my life for family funerals, most recently in 2007. The cemetery itself dates to the early 1800s.

Of course, in London, early 1800s is nothing, right?

I have family members including my parents ashes spread at my local cemetery as it's also a crematorium. It's not a very eerie one though I will say.

With regards to dates, I have read that there are ones in London from 1657 & 1715 - they will probably be eerie.
There's also ancient burial grounds throughout the UK just like with the American Indian ancient burial sites. I think there's one in the UK in the county of Somerset inside a cave that is about 10,000 years old!

Here are some pictures I took a few years ago during Dia de los Muertos. See some more pics of the same place here.

Hey, I'll be back to the cemetery again tomorrow nite or the next nite! :D But, still I do miss my partner! :( Because he has had some troubles with the laws and job-related things in the past.

My boss called my grandpa to let me know that I can be back to work the other day so I am so happy! But, sadly... my buddy won't be back with me anymore. :( I am going to work alone myself. I have to be carefully myself to lookout someone behind my back!
