Come to think of it, I do remember one neighbor who actualy gave out rocks. She was an artist, and she had a way of polishing those things and putting all kinds of spooky faces on them, and they were pretty neat. I still have the one I got back when I was in 3rd grade burried some place in my memorbelia. I should dig it out next October.

WHEN I WAS I KID YOU REALLY ONLY WENT TO THE PEOPLE YOU KNEW IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD,BUT AS FOR TREATS OTHER THAN CANDY,WELL WE USED TO GET LOADS OF CASH BACK THEN AND DON"T FORGET THE MONKEY NUTS,OH MAN I HATED MONKEY NUTS,YOU USED TO GETGET LOADS OF THEM,BUT FUNNY ENOUGH NOWADAYS YOU DON"T SEE MANY KIDS WITH THAT IN THERE BAGS/BUCKETS ITS NOW NORMALLY BAGS OF CRISPS OR FRUIT

I gave out painted mini pumpkins one year, the kids didn't really like them, so I added candy with them, go figure!!

There are literally no trick or treaters in my neighborhood on Halloween.
If there were, I would like to sit on my porch dressed in my Granny outfit and pass outs candy and other treats.
