I should be out cleaning my truck but I just found my favorite episode of Dr Who online. One of the spookiest episodes there is. I dare you to watch it with the lights off. And remember...

Hey Murf, check your library. I was able to find all the Legacy collections... Dracula, Frankenstein, Mummy, Invisible Man, and Creature.

Never seen A & C Meet Frankenstein?!? I agree with Boogey, you guys are weird!

There are lots of others that are almost as creepy. "Are you my mummy?"

Another of my favorite episodes, while not creepy, dang near brings tears to my eyes, is 'Vincent and the Doctor' (s5e10). The Doctor and his companion go back to meet Vincent Van Gogh. The end just turns me into a little girl every time.

P.S. I'll bet you never look at a statue the same again.

We probably could have gotten them from the library, you're right, though I often find that the library DVDs are damaged. Anyway, we have proceeded with others in that collection. First we watched Lugosi's Dracula, then one called Dracula's Daughter. I fell asleep on Son of Dracula, LOL.

No, we had never seen any of these movies. That's probably on me. My husband is five years younger than I am and was never into Halloween or scary movies until my enthusiasm (very gradually) sort of seeped over into him. He is actually the one who bought this collection.

We've had Nosferatu for ages, but neither of us had ever seen the Lugosi Dracula straight through, just clips here and there. From the clips I hadn't imagined it could be very good, but I was rather impressed with Lugosi when I saw it all the way through.

OK, I mentioned this exchange to my husband, and he insisted I come back on and tell you all that HE had seen Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein "many times" before! Who knew?

I'm currently watching 'The Return of the Living Dead' on the Samhain channel. Someone from Reddit was just on the Hallows-Eve channel. Don't forget the Halloween channel. All videos seem to be working right now. Google must have relaxed their restrictions a bit. They'll probably screw it up again on Halloween night though. That's my luck.

Thanks for those links!

We watched Horror Hotel last night. I guess we're doing vintage Halloween this year!

I know it's not seasonal but I'm watching 'The Final Countdown'. I came across this post on Reddit yesterday and me and the guys at work started talking about how crazy it would be if a modern ship were timeslipped back to the age of sail. That reminded me of this movie. Ever seen it? I'll bet Kolchak has. The USS Nimitz is transported back to the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor. The commanding officers have to decide whether to stop the invasion or let history repeat itself. Quite the dilemma.

Edit: Oooh!! The scene where the jets take out the Japanese Zeros! I forgot about that. Gives me the shivers.

Edit 2: Good trivia.

We bought the Legacy Collection of The Mummy yesterday, so we watched Boris Karloff in The Mummy last night.
