I carved a jack o'lantern on the 1st of October. It lasted about 2 weeks, and than I had to toss it. I imediately carved another one, and it's holding up pretty good, though it's starting to get a little "funky." I plan to carv another this Saturday, and then another on Wednesday of next week, and then one on Saturday the 30th and my largest on Sunday the 31st. My house never sees an October day without a jack o'lantern carved from a real pumpkin and lit by the traditinal candle.

I know you have no home for you to have fun on Halloween, right? I hope next year will be much better for you, Spooky! :) So, on this Halloween.... what are you really going to do? Taking your kids out for TOTing? Going to see funny or scary horror movies? Visiting the haunted house? Staying home giving out the candies? Going to the Halloween party? I know you have something in your mind what to do on Halloween. ;) Just like I do, I don't know what to do.... but I believe I will get small, not many TOTs on Halloween because it's SUNDAY!!! :? I am not going to put up so many props and everything in my front yard, just small. Next year, I will decorate more! ;)

I will dig a few things out of storage and decorate the front of the apt, a few foggers, my giant spider, tombstones, maybe my Jason......hand out candy, take the kids around the complex, who knows what else.

Next week is going to be a busy one as far as Halloween is concerned. I will be picking up my TOT candy tonight after I get home from work, and then I am going to polish up the house just right for the big day a week from Sunday.

I'm sorry; what exactly does your signature quote say? I can't make it out through my tears.

I often feel that way until sunset on the 31st. Decorations or not Halloween is more of a feeling for me than an event.
