Yep, and we had our Harvest Days celebration last Saturday and Sunday. I stocked up on grilled Shishkabobs for supper.

I to am suffering from a to busy schedule though come hell or high water this weekend is Halloween decorating weekend!

I work in academia, so my schedule gets really busy at this time of the year, and pretty stays that way until late May of the next year, with a little break in between for the Christmas season.

At any rate, I still enjoy Halloween. IF and WHEN I ever retire, though, Halloween is going to be the 'end all to beat all' at my house.

Yes, October is mid-term for academics. A very busy time of year indeed.

It's also one of my busiest photo schedules. as is November and December. Once Christmas Vacation comes along, things wil calm down, but it won't stay that way for long.

33 days to go and no one around. I figure everyone is either putting up Halloween decorations or downloading those albums I mentioned in the other thread.

If you're not morally deficient like me, or you're a police officer (looking at you VH), you can stream those albums instead. Most of them can be found on YouTube. You can even use this site to loop your favorite one so you can play it on Halloween. Hopefully they don't get takedown notices before Halloween.

Seriously though, I just downloaded the out of print ones, a couple of which I have on vinyl. Unfortunately my record player is no longer hooked up.

I have the capabilities of ripping the albums just never got around to it. Maybe when I get around to setting up my entertainment center again. I've also got boxes full of Halloween CDs. Should do those too before we have another flood.

My stereo system still has a phonograph, and I even have an old stereo counsel that also houses a color tv, that one of our friends bought back in the early 60s. The phonograph in that counsel actualy has a 78rpm and a16 rpm.
