Here's what made me happy today...I have Halloween off from work! Woo hoo! That means I'll be home to pass out candy should we get any little ghosts and goblins.
Although I heard we don't get very many, but at least I'll be here just in case. :D

The success of my costume as Mrs Bates at my annual Ghostly Galavant Party.

The costume went over well and was a great success.

Many said that I made a great elderly woman in costume.

Also many of the ladies thought that I was really a woman dressed up as Mrs. Bates. Hmmmmm!

But I had a great time and am happy today that my costume was a success!

That's awesome Dutchess! I have to admit, your costumes are pretty convincing. I actually thought you were a woman until I read your signature. lol.

Great costume!

The funny part though is I think people thought I was a guy when I first started posting on here back when I posted under "DemonSlayerMau."

Yep! And people thought I was a woman from the name "Duchess" and my female attire!

But it's fun! LOL!

We had a minutely measurable amount of rain overnight.

That made me deliriously happy. (Sad, but true)

I had fun at Scare LA, all in all it was a good time, but, I was not really interested in the arts and crafts stuff, not interested in most of the pictures and painting people had to sell, the jewelry was cool, the Tee shirts were neat and I would have liked to buy a few but passed for other items. I enjoyed the props and would have liked to have seen more booths with props, foggers, fog systems, lighting and so on and less art "gallery's" with prints and paintings for sale. I was a little disappointed with the show floor, while I enjoyed a lot of it, I also had no interest in a lot of it. I really enjoyed the displays on the 2nd and 7th floor, the graveyard and the theater display outside the elevators were very cool.
The classes I attended were well done, pretty organized and well presented, I liked that they gave the scare students priority, that was cool.
I was VERY disappointed in the Gala, I thought the costume ball at Haunt X was far superior to the Scare LA gala. I did however meet some great people and made a few friends and got to see some past friends. My wife and I came in 3rd in the costume contest :) I was the Haunted Mansion graveyard caretaker and she was the maid from the movie (Emma)

I'm getting pics together, gotta sift through and pick out the good ones

Gala, ha ha! Almost missed that.

I'm just glad he blurred out his face. I don't need no more nightmares. :eye:
