Sorry about that, Andy. I wasn't trying to be confusing. I guess I just forgot that old guys like yourself have trouble following a dialogue that's any more complex than the plot line of an episode of Matlock. In the future, for your benefit, I'll try not to use any words over two syllables. 
I was standing on my toilet hanging a clock when I fell and hit my head on the sink, and that's when I came up with the idea for the Flux Capacitor, which is what makes ghost existence impossible.
You know, Shanda, I'm a big subscriber of Bertrand Russell's theory on mysticism, as applies to either religious or supernatural experience. He argues that it is reasonable for such experiences to be accepted as proof for the individual who actually experiences it, but that such personal experiences, which can not be replicated in a controlled environment, are not transferable as evidence for the investigative community at large. For Andy's benefit, that means that your personal experiences with the supernatural are proof for you, and I would be foolish or arrogant to tell you that your experience was wrong, or that you didn't see what you claim you saw. At the same time, it would be unreasonable to expect that your experience could serve as proof to me, because it's very personal nature applies only to you. Old houses are made of old materials, and they do weird things, but only you know what you experienced, and only you can be persuaded by it.
Still can't follow, Andy?? Okay, I'll try one more time. If you see a ghost, you believe in ghosts! I never saw a ghost, so I don't believe in ghosts! Goo goo ga ga!!! Look, Andy! Shiny!!! *jingles keys in Andy's face*
