Time is definitely moving at an accelerated pace!
This will be the inaugural Thanksgiving in my sisters new house.
Its in a nice manufactured house park in a town of just over 6000 residents, about a dozen miles outside of a college town.
Three of our siblings already live here, and a fourth just signed off on a house.
There is another sister will be moving down within a couple of months to buy in, and I plan on purchasing a house in the next year or so.
If you weren't keeping score that will make 6 homes within a 2 block area.

Andy, how lovely for you and your siblings to be so close again! Where were you all from originally?
Thanksgiving is, literally, a little early this year, since the month started on a Weds. It has five Thursday's.
Oddly, if you observe Advent, that season is actually shorter this year, since Christmas Eve is a Sunday. We've basically lost a week of Advent.
Anyway, ready I am not. But I expect the family will gather in, and the meal will happen, even so.
Have a blessed holiday season!

2 of us were born in the next town over, the rest are immigrants from the Midwest.

Not really excited about Black Friday, but Thanksgiving should be fun!

I bought two turkeys for the people coming over - we're doing the turkeys, they are doing the sides. It works out well.

A day late but happy Thanksgiving all!
I work today but hopefully not too many people died yesterday, so I hope its a quiet day.
Any route to work goes past a major regional shopping hub so my commute will be a nightmare.

It was actually a breeze. I keep forgetting that I live in a mostly rural area now.
