Wouldn't it be cool if it turned out to be a permanent store?

Those ceramic jack-o-lanterns I mentioned seeing at Kroger are almost all sold now! I didn't buy one, because I thought they were a bit pricey, but they did look terrific. I guess lots of other people thought so, too.

The Better Homes & Gardens people out did themselves this year. It's a keeper.

The Spirit Halloween just about 5 minutes away from my college has opened up! I don't move in till tomorrow but I feel the 40 minute drive there is well worth it from my house!

I saw the first magazine at the checkout of the grocery store with a Halloween cover yesterday. Surprised me.

The Menards home improvement store is now in full Halloween mode. Was in there last night and the whole display is up. Four aisles of Halloween décor, goodies, lights, crafts, dummies, inflatables, everything. I've seen a few little things here and there, but yesterday was the first day I saw all-out Halloween aisles in a store this year. It is now officially Halloween season as far as I'm concerned.

They really outdid themselves with the packaging, I'm loving it!
Hmmmm, thinking about getting my hands on a copy of BHG, myself!

Picked up the Sandra Lee fall magazine today.
Fall recipes on one side then flip it over and it's a Halloween mag.

I never have tried pumpkin or a fall beer so I did a create your own six pack at my local store. I picked up some brews especially for Halloween and one for Nevermore on here too!

I have so many magazines saved from previous seasons that I am trying to cut back on my magazine purchases, but I did buy the Taste of Home Halloween issue already. I have loved their Halloween magazine for too many years not to do that. I believe theirs was the very first one I purchased. They sort of got me started in collecting the seasonal magazines.

Sandra Lee is horrifying by herself. No Halloween spooky stuff need be added.

She can be kind of Stepford- y, but does have some inventive ideas.
