None of the mass-produced, made in China stuff. I'd also hire some in-house custom foam tombstone carvers to do special orders. And skulls by the 'barrow-full!!

I would definately shop there, since most of the mass produced stuff if too cute or corny, and so much of it looks just like everything else, we have started making a lot of our own stuff and customizing dollar store finds. a bucket of mudd, a roll of burlap and some spray paint can go a long way.

I found her on Ebay. She is Telco's 1995 Witch model. They had about 3 different models (face sculpt and costume).

Here is one currently listed similar to mine just with patches on the dress:

No problem! The Witch and Dracula were always my favorites. My Aunt had Drac when I was growing up and I used to just sit and watch him for hours.

I picked up a few things on my trek around the city last weekend.

Some cookie cutters, a couple of greeting cards and some tasty chocolates.

The skull card has no text on the front and so will look great in a nice silver frame. It also bears some clear crystal doo-dads that look much better than in the photos.

I like those cards! I would like them too much to send them out. I'd end up not sending them out, writing in them and displaying them around my home, pretending friends sent them.

My sugar cookies tend to come out like sanding discs, but since I bought them I have to at least try.

Ciuin, I have a bag full of Halloween cards that I'm 'saving for a rainy day'.

I'm not sure what sanding discs are like.

Are your cookies too crispy? Too soft? Too crumbly? What are they like, and how do you want them to be?

They tend to be way too dry and too hard.

I picked these up on my way to work this morning.

More cheap plastic from overseas to add to my overflow collection.

You need more butter, you need to let your dough rest in the fridge overnight before use, you need to roll them thicker, you need to bake them on the very top rack, and you want your oven no higher than 350º.

I did my good deed today by going to jury duty, then took a friend to a doctor appointment.
God smiled on me and next door to the Dr.'s office was a Dollar Store!!

Got some orange and black streamers, 2 LED pins (The ghost looks a LOT like 'Slimer') and a fancy eye mask. $5.00 total!
