thanks yall i'm a native of french louisiana 
i served 4 yrs in the marines, worked a few years after the service, then went to college in louisiana on the gi bill i graduated in 2007 and moved to new york to be with my girlfriend worked on the elections in 2008 and began grad school in 2009 my master's is in education my fiancee and i plan to relocate to new orleans this summer and teach

Congrats! That's quite an accomplishment.
I hope your graduation elation lasts longer than mine did... I paid how much for my education and then I got my diploma with my name spelled incorrectly.... it was really anti-climatic... especially since I had to harass the university for another. =/
